Fresh install, fresh subscription. I paste the M3U URL into IPTV Smarters, all 6,000‑odd channels populate, categories look right. Click any channel and it either sits on a black screen or briefly shows "connecting" and stops. Same M3U on my phone (mobile data) plays fine. Any idea where to look?

When the **playlist loads but streams don't play** and the same M3U works on cellular, it's almost always the network path: 1. **DNS**: change the device's DNS to `1.1.1.1` or `9.9.9.9` and reboot. 2. **ISP block**: connect through a VPN. If channels play, your ISP is filtering streaming ports. 3. **Router firewall / parental controls**: disable temporarily. 4. **IPv6**: some providers only serve on IPv4 — disable IPv6 on the device. 5. **Player codec**: try VLC as external player; if VLC plays the same channel, the player was failing on codec detection.
