Same Xtream host/user/pass works in IPTV Smarters Pro (channels + EPG + VOD all load). In TiviMate on the exact same Firestick, "Add Playlist → Xtream Codes" says **login failed**. I've retyped it three times, copy/pasted from the provider's email, tried port 80 and 8080. What is TiviMate doing differently?

Two things TiviMate does differently that trip people up: 1. **Host field must have no port and no trailing slash.** Put the port in the port field. Some provider emails write `http://host.example.com:8080/c` — strip the `:8080` and `/c` from the host. 2. **TiviMate strictly validates the Xtream Codes API** while Smarters is looser. If the server responds slowly (>10s) on first hit, TiviMate marks it failed even when credentials are correct. Retry once. Also: some providers force **HTTPS on 443** and reject port 80/8080 — try `https://` + port `443`. If nothing works, use "M3U URL" mode instead as a workaround.
